TIME OF DELIVERY
Given that all our products are crafted by hand, the delivery of your order might extend to a timeframe of 4-6 weeks.
I HAVEN’T RECEIVED THE DISPATCH CONFIRMATION WITHIN 1-3 DAYS. WHAT SHALL I DO?

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?
At the moment, we ship our products within the Netherlands only. We’re actively exploring international shipping options, so this may change in the future. Are you based outside the Netherlands and fell in love with one of ours pieces? Feel free to reach out to us at hello@captainandnel.com. We'll always see what's possible and do our very best to help.
A note on international orders (outside the EU)
Orders shipped to countries outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs fees, local taxes, or handling charges. These costs are set by local authorities in the destination country and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and can’t estimate them in advance. Any additional fees are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid upon delivery. If you’re unsure or have questions before ordering, just drop us a message; we’re happy to think along with you.
HOW ARE THE COSTS OF DELIVERY CALCULATED?
Costs are calculated based on size and weight of your parcel. We often review shipping costs to ensure the fairest price possible. We also strive to deliver mostly ecologically friendly.
WHAT ARE YOU SHIPPING METHODS?
For now we offer the following methods:
In studio Pick up
You are most welcome to pick-up your order yourself at our studio in Haarlem.
At the product page you can choose one one of the options above, and we will get in touch with you once we can deliver or when you can pick up your new furniture piece.
Delivery via our Partner
If you live outside of region Haarlem & Amsterdam, we can arrange delivery via our partner (for extra costs). If you are interested in this option, please email store@captainandnel.com so we can arrange this for you.
Please note that Captain and Nel is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged shipments when you pick-up the order yourself or get it delivered via our partner.
ORDERS
HOW CAN I TRACK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been placed. Once your order is ready for shipment we will contact you to schedule a delivery/pick-up appointment.
CAN I CHANGE/CANCEL MY ORDER?
If you would like to change or cancel your order please contact store@captainandnel.com within 24 hours after placing your order. All our items are made to order so once the production process has started, we can’t promise we can adjust the order.
I ENTERED THE WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS, CAN I CHANGE IT?
Please contact store@captainandnel.com if your delivery address should be adjusted.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING?
We don’t offer any gift wrapping. All of our products are carefully packed and we will always add a little notecard on which you can write a short message (please add to your order details).
CAN I ORDER A GIFT CARD?
Yes! Gift cards are available to purchase in our online store. The gift card is virtual and will be sent to your or the recipients email address. Please send an email to store@captainandnel.com with the amount you would like to order and to whom we can send it.
